Mary Huelskamp
Mary M. Huelskamp age 96, of Versailles passed away at 1:05 am Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Versailles Rehab & Healthcare Center.
Mary was born January 26, 1927, in North Star to the late Herman & Vena (Francis) Grilliot.
Mary was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lawrence B. Huelskamp on February 7, 1997, whom she married August 24, 1946; daughter, Doris Hemmelgarn; grandson, Matthew Huelskamp; brothers & sisters-in-law, Earl Grilliot, Herbert & Jean Grilliot, and Robert & Edna Grilliot; sister & brother-in-law, Dorothy & Clarence Siefring; and brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Roman & Norma Huelskamp.
Mary is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Gary & Donna Huelskamp of Versailles, Ron & Deborah Huelskamp of Troy and Keith & Regina Huelskamp of Tipp City; son-in-law, Fred Hemmelgarn of Coldwater; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister-in-law, Joan Grilliot of Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in North Star.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, May 18, 2023, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Ned Brown celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenville.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
