For areas north of I-70, southwesterly winds will be sustained between 25 to 30 MPH, with gusts up to 40 MPH possible this afternoon. For areas south of I-70, southwesterly winds will be sustained between 20 to 25 MPH, with gusts up to 35 MPH possible this afternoon. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Use extra caution when driving this afternoon, especially if driving a high profile vehicle.

Virginia Hess
Virginia Krause Hess, 98, died May 9, 2023, at Sycamore Springs Rehab Facility, Miamisburg.
A memorial service/celebration of life will be held on Nov. 7, 2023. Further arrangements are pending.
Memorial contributions can be to the Dayton Art Institute, Springfield (Ohio) Museum of Art, the Rosewood Art Center through the Kettering (Ohio) Parks Foundation and/or Wright State University.
