Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly, creating additional travel hazards tonight.
West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30 to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as the snow ends after 3 AM.

Robert Lucas
Robert Louis Lucas, 75, of Mendon, OH died 6:00 p.m. Thursday July 6, 2023 at Grande Lake Healthcare Center in St. Marys.
He was born January 6, 1948 in Flint, MI to Jules and Lupita Lucas, who are deceased. On December 23, 1978 in Botkins, OH he married Judy K. Mosler, who died January 14, 2017.
Survivors include: son Anthony Lucas of Detroit, MI; daughter Carla (Daryl) Barnes of Spencerville, OH; daughter Kai (Jason) Richard of St. Marys, OH; daughter Michele Campos of Wapakoneta, OH; daughter Sunshine (Travis) Minnich of Lafayette, LA; son Daryn Lucas Venedocia, OH; 26 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Sandy Lucas of Detroit, MI; brother John Lucas of Detroit, MI; brother Tim Lucas of Utah.
A son, Clifford Lucas-Gibson, is deceased.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a production employee for various manufacturing facilities. He was a member of the American Legion and DAV. An avid sports fan, he coached Little League baseball for a number of years.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday July 13, 2023 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys. Pastor Jason King will officiate the services.
Visitation 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
