* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize and Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 415 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 110 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, New Knoxville, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Carthagena and Maria Stein.

* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Northeastern Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* Until 400 PM EDT.
* At 108 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Anna, Jackson Center, Botkins, New Knoxville, Kettlersville, Montra, Mccartyville and Maplewood.

At 1258 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Anna, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Minster, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Botkins, Hardin, Port Jefferson, Kettlersville, Montra, Newbern, Lake Loramie State Park, Maplewood, Mccartyville, Swanders, and Bloom Center.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 87 and 107.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Betty Harner
Betty Jean Harner, 96, of St. Marys, OH passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Vancrest of St. Marys.
She was born July 16, 1927 in Van Wert County, OH to Frank I and Grace H (White) Picker. On November 20, 1944 she married Ralph Edson Harner in Elizabeth City, NC at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her four children, Linda Finke, Parrish, FL, Susan (Jack) Trentman, Winston-Salem, NC, Larry (Deanna) Harner, Union City, TN, Dan Harner, St. Marys; 10 grandchildren: Julie Holubetz, Marci Rowe, John (Brandy) Finke, Shelley (Ryan) Petrasek, Mark (Mimi) Trentman, Sara (Jason) Lewis, Matt (Ashley) Harner, Ben (Avery) Harner, Elyse Harner, Gabrielle Harner; 14 great-grandchildren Emily, Garrett and Ethan Holubetz, Katelynn, Joshua and Hannah Rowe, Taylor Finke, Lila and Amelia Petrasek, Nicholas Lewis, George Trentman, Payton and Witten Harner, Rhett Harner.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; an infant daughter, Carol Jean Harner; one sister, Mary Lou Williams; three brothers, Gerald Picker, Carl Picker, Donald Picker; three sisters-in-law, Junella Picker, Margaret Picker, Delores Picker. One brother-in-law, Gerald E. Williams; one son-in-law, Allan L. Finke.
Betty was a retired production employee from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in St. Marys. She attended Delphos St. John's High School and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys. Betty and Ralph loved to travel to Florida for the winter. She enjoyed gardening, needlework and genealogy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys with Father John Tonkin, celebrant. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
