James Patton
James A. Patton, age 75, of Celina, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Dayton VA Medical Center.
Jim was born January 19, 1948, in Dayton, to the late Ernest S. and Gertrude A. (Jazembowski) Patton.
Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law: Thomas & Linda Patton of Celina, and a half-sister, Rita Randolph, of Dayton.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert A. Patton.
A 1966 graduate of Celina High School, Jim served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He had been a maintenance worker at several area plants - Cargill in Sidney, Ramsey/Sias in Botkins, and Plastipak in Jackson Center.
Jim was a great brother to Robert and Tom. As pastimes, he enjoyed riding his Harley and tinkering around with his sailboat.
At his request, no Services are planned.
Memorial Contributions may be made to: the Wounded Warrior Project, Folds of Honor Foundation, or the Gary Sinise Foundation.
