COLDWATER- A maintenance shop located just outside of Coldwater was destroyed by flames mid evening on Friday.
No one was injured in the blaze but the shop was deemed a total loss, according to Southwest Mercer Fire Department Assistant Chief John Kaffenberger. [More]

ST. HENRY - Down seven midway through the fourth quarter, St. Henry fought its way back into the game and then surged past New Bremen.
The Redskins tied the score with four seconds left and led all the way in overtime, winning 67-64 over the Cardinals in a Midwest Athletic Conference boys basketball game on Friday night at Redskin Gymnasium. [More]

Commissioners decreased the county's total appropriations by 1% and approved the $78,564,227.65 budget.

The Marion Local boys basketball team snapped a two-game skid with a 63-37 win over Fort Recovery on Friday, picking up a Midwest Athletic Conference win at Fort Site Fieldhouse.
