Celina comes through for big victory over New Bremen

CELINA - In a game without a lot of offensive spurts, Celina was able to put together a fourth-quarter run that proved to be the difference.
For 28 minutes New Bremen and Celina were never separated by more than two possessions one way or the other. With the score tied 27-27 midway through the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs scored seven unanswered points in less than 50 seconds. [More]

County says expect lots of bridge, road work this year
CELINA -Mercer County Engineer Jim Wiechart is prepping for a packed year of road-widening and federal bridge projects to be paid in part with millions of dollars in state and federal funds his office secured.
MINSTER - There were not a lot of overwhelming moments of beauty, but at the end of the day it was a victory for Minster, as the Wildcats defeated defending Division IV state champion Tri-Village 33-28 in girls basketball action on Saturday afternoon.
