* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Pauline Romer
Pauline Romer, 91, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Hospice of Cincinnati.
She was born on June 15, 1932, in Devonshire, England, to the late Fred and Lillian (Wall) Wilkinson.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Dixon; her siblings, Stuart Wilkinson and Peter Wilkinson; and an in-law, Diane McGlenn.
Pauline is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald Romer, whom she married on August 3, 1970 in San Diego, California; her children, Carol (Ralph) Dixon of Wausau, Wisconsin, David (Angela) Wooton of Spokane, Washington, and Kim (Randy) Burton of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Liana (London) Franklin, and Jack, Kara, and Sam Burton; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Shane, Kye, and Miles; and her in-laws, Ken (Elaine) Romer and David Romer, all of Fort Recovery.
Pauline loved life at the lake. She enjoyed fishing, boating, socializing with friends and being in the sunshine. She had a love for reading, watching movies, and shopping. Pauline loved spending time with her family sharing food and good wine.
A celebration of Pauline's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, with Pastor Quentin Elsea officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Recovery.
Guests may visit with Pauline's family on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service at 2:00 PM.
