Brogan Stephey
Minster
6-0 Junior guard
11.5 PPG, 1.7 Rebounds, 3.7 Assists, 0.9 Steals
Coming off an injury that cost him most of his sophomore campaign, Stephey recorded 12 double-digit outings, highlight by a 25-point showing against Ottoville and back-to-back 21-point games against Botkins and Versailles. He shot 46% overall and hit 37.2% of his shots beyond the arc.
More important than his scoring capabilities, though, he ran the offense and served as a distributor for a deep Wildcats team, helping spread the ball around between Kole Richard, James Niemeyer, Cole Albers and Cole McClurg. Minster averaged 50.3 points per game with Stephey in the lineup.
After the season, Stephey was recognized as an All-Midwest Athletic Conference and All-District second-teamer.
