* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Dustin Schmehl
Dustin L. Schmehl, 32, of St. Marys, Ohio, died March 21, 2024 in rural Auglaize County.
He was born August 13, 1991 in St. Marys, Ohio.
Survivors include: father Jerry Schmehl of St. Marys; mother Kathy (Koetter) Schmehl of St. Marys;; brother Josh (Ashley) Schmehl of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; paternal grandmother Dolores A. (Etter) Schmehl of St. Marys; and a large extended family which includes numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by paternal grandfather Lee R. Schmehl; maternal grandfather Edward Koetter; and maternal grandmother Laneta (Freewalt) Koetter.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 2010) and attended the Apollo Career Center to study Multi-Craft Industrial Technology. Dustin was a gifted individual who enjoyed reading, card games, role-playing and making others laugh. More than anything else, he liked taking long walks to find solitude in nature.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday April 13, 2024 at the Miller-Long & Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St. Marys. Pastor Andrew Atkins will officiate the services. Private interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation is 11-11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
