* WHERE...Western Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio... North Central Shelby County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1015 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 714 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Minster, St. Henry, Rockford, New Knoxville, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, Maria Stein, State Route 116 at State Route 197 and Chattanooga.

At 709 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Ohio City, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Chattanooga, Kossuth, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, and Bulkhead.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.

Walter Steinbrunner
Walter John Steinbrunner, 83, of West Union, Ohio, died Friday, October 11 , 2024, at home.
Walter was born April 2, 1941, in Fort Recovery, Ohio. He was preceded by parents, Walter and Anna (Knoth) Steinbrunner; brother, Ralph Steinbrunner; sisters: Shirley Rienhard and Regina (Virgil) Lange; children: Kari (Martin) Homan and Frank Steinbrunner; and grandsons: Cody Wehnes and Joseph Steinbrunner.
Walter is survived by wife of 61 years, Karen L. (Schmidt) Steinbrunner; children: Judy (Ed) Jackson, Betty Steinbrunner, Chris Steinbrunner, Theresa (John) Wycuff, Wally Steinbrunner, Tony (Amanda) Steinbrunner, Matt Steinbrunner, Adam Steinbrunner and Rose (Richard) Heddleston; 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local St. Vincent de Paul.
The Inurnment will be at the Schmidt Memorial Cemetery in Tiffin Township in Adams County at the convenience of the family.
