William Roy
William C. "Bill" Roy, age 82, of Camden, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the Hillsdale Hospital.
He was born on September 4, 1942 to Guy and Rhodabelle Roy (Lige) in Jackson. He married Michelle Thorne on July 1, 1994.
He graduated high school and went on to work at the Ford Motor Company in Saline, Michigan in the PEMA plastics department. When Bill wasn't working, he enjoyed watching old westerns on TV, and NASCAR. Bill loved anything to do with racing and spent time helping his son work on their racecar to race locally. Many weekends were spent at Butler Speedway and other local tracks where he participated and supported other racers.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Michelle Roy; seven children, William C. (Jill) Roy II, Dessie Ohler, Draven Roy, Jason (April) Thorne, Eric Thorne, Casey Thorne, and Mirria (Dustin) Walston; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no funeral services for William Roy. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading.
