A weak system moves into the area later today, providing light snow accumulations. With cold conditions in place, snow will accumulate on roadways, especially after sunset. Accumulations of less than one inch are expected, but slick conditions may continue into Friday morning due to the cold conditions.
Motorists should exercise extra caution through the evening and overnight hours. What appears to be wet roads may actually be patches of ice, particularly if you drive over a bridge. Slow down and allow extra distance between you and other vehicles.

Marion Local captures 15th state title with dominating victory

CANTON - It didn't take long for Marion Local to put an exclamation point on the Division VII state championship game and its 2024 football season.

CELINA - A 49-year-old Celina man charged with attempted murder is requesting a change in venue and claiming self-defense in his case.
Samuel Paul was arraigned in late November on two counts of attempted murder, a first-degree felony, and four counts of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.
CELINA - With a much smaller budget than 2024, county engineer Jim Wiechart is prepping for a year full of road-widening projects in 2025.
