Destinee Esposito
Destinee N. Esposito, age 21, of Van Wert, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Van Wert Hospital. She was born on June 17, 2003, in Decatur, Indiana, to Dennis Esposito and Alisha (Wills) Etgen.
Destinee is survived by her father, Dennis Esposito of Delaware, Ohio; her mother and stepfather, Alisha (Aaron) Etgen of Mendon, Ohio; two sisters, Nevaeh Etgen of Mendon and Suzie Hatfield, St. Marys; her brother, Aaron Etgen Jr. of Mendon; two stepbrothers, Braylon and Alister Esposito; one stepsister; her maternal grandparents, Kevin (Brenda) Wills of Willshire, Ohio; her paternal grandmother, Peggy Pridemore of Sandusky, Ohio; her paternal step-grandparents, John (Cindy) Etgen of Mendon, Ohio; and many loving friends and extended family members.
A 2022 graduate of Parkway High School in Rockford, Ohio, Destinee also attended Vantage Career Center in Van Wert, where she specialized in the welding program. She was a devoted member of New Start Church of God.
Destinee was a free spirit with a love for animals, music, sunsets, and star gazing. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends. Her bright spirit and kind heart touched everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, Ohio, with Pastor John Mobley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
