Sharon Kohler
Sharon M. Kohler, age 83, of Celina, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 19, 2024. She was born on May 8, 1941, in Wapakoneta, Ohio, to the late Leonard N. and Miriam (Elliott) Kohler.
Sharon was a beloved sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her sister, Alice M. Rauh of St. Anthony; nieces and nephews: Steve Walterbusch of Coldwater, Julie (Ron) Brackman of St. Anthony, Dave (Connie) Walterbusch of Chickasaw, Karen (Mark) Schwanhausser of California, Janet (Chuck) Stoner of Celina, Tim Rauh of St. Anthony, and Todd (Carolyn) Rauh of North Star; as well as 22 great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn M. (Bill) Walterbusch; a niece, Deb Walterbusch; and her parents.
A 1959 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Wapakoneta, Sharon worked for many years in banking, retiring in 2005 from Union Bank in Columbus Grove. She was a dedicated member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, where she found joy in her faith and community.
Known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family, Sharon's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a generous spirit, and her family and friends will remember her for the love she so freely gave.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Celina, with Fr. Rob Muhlenkamp officiating.
Prior to the service, the family will welcome friends for visitation at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Following the Mass, Sharon will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception School, a cause close to Sharon's heart.
