* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Kathleen Shockney
Kathleen (Meehan) Shockney, age 83, of Coldwater, died Monday, December 30, 2024 at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.   She was born to the late Edward & Mabel (Paul) Meehan on August 24, 1941 in Greenville, Ohio. She married Robert Shockney on December 29, 1978, and he preceded her in death in 2015.
She is also survived by five children, Amy Roberts of New Mexico, Tim & Chris Cool of Miamisburg, John Shockney of Amherst, Tami & Kelly Bowlby of Celina and Tony & Crystal Shockney of Virginia, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Sue & Charlie Meyer of Piqua.
She was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Richard & Kay Shockney.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, a resident at Briarwood Village and enjoyed playing cards and solving puzzles. She was retired after many years at the Union City Body Company, New Idea, and Gel's Market in St. Henry. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and pets.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Holy Trinity Church, Coldwater.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater on Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
