* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Thomas Dircksen
Thomas John Dircksen, age 76 of Minster, Ohio, died at 5:19 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on April 17, 1948 in Piqua, Ohio to the late John & Anna Marie (Heitkamp) Dircksen. He married Judy Bulcher Thobe Dircksen on July 19, 1969 and she preceded him in death on November 18, 1996.
He is survived by children: Jeff & Minde Thobe, Russia, Brian & Judy Thobe, Trenton, Diane & Bob Boeke, Bryan, Terry & Sandy Thobe, Middletown, Steve & Carol Dircksen, Minster, Sheri & Bill Kautz, Ft. Wayne, Stacy Dircksen, Minster, Shannon Dircksen, Bryan, 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, siblings: Mary Lou & Jim Nerderman, Versailles, Dorothy & Roger Moeller, Ft. Loramie, Betty & Ron Marchal, Burkettsville, Jerry & Angie Dircksen, Minster, Anne Dircksen, Sidney, John & Angie Dircksen, New Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, great grandson Mack Boeke, and brother Gerard Dircksen.
Tom was a lifelong farmer and truck driver and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, Ohio and the Men's Sodality. He was also a 4-H advisor for over 40 years and a member of the Kiwanis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Egypt.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 2 to 8 PM and on Tuesday, January 14, from 9 to 9:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
