Nancy May
Nancy L. May, age 72, of Celina, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born on December 9, 1952, in Celina, to the late William S. and Mary B. (Davis) Baggs. On December 10, 1988, she married Robert "Bob" V. May, who survives in Celina.
Nancy is also survived by her two stepsons, Robert L. (Eva) May of Amberg, Germany, and Thomas A. May of Michigan; five step-grandchildren; and her siblings, Peggy Sheaks of St. Marys, Thomas P. Boggs of Florida, and Susie Stoner of Greenville.
A proud 1971 graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic High School in Celina, Nancy led a fulfilling and diverse career. She began as an office manager at Bruce Green's Ford in Celina, later owned and operated a bakery, and also ran her own lawn care service. Additionally, she assisted with tax preparation during the winter months at Muhlenkamp & Associates in Celina.
Nancy will be remembered for her strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and warm personality. Her hobbies and work brought her joy, and she touched the lives of many through her dedication and kindness.
Honoring Nancy's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal services are planned. A private burial will be held at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.
