* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Cyril Pottkotter
Cyril "Cy" G. Pottkotter, age 66, of Fort Recovery, Ohio, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at IU Health - Jay in Portland, Indiana.
He was born on April 18, 1958, in Coldwater, to the late Albert and Marie (Lange) Pottkotter.
Cy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Darlene (Miller) Pottkotter, whom he married on November 25, 1983; his siblings, Ralph Pottkotter of Celina, Henry (Rita) Pottkotter of Coldwater, Lou Ann May of St. Henry, Mary (Mike) Barga of Versailles, Roger Pottkotter of St. Henry, Donna (Mike) Subler of Versailles, and Paul (Janet) Pottkotter of St. Henry: his in-laws, Miriam (Todd) Bantz of Victorville, California, Sharon (Greg) Sheffer and Dee (Michael) Marchal, all of Portland, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Lilly.
In addition to his parents, Cy was preceded in death by his in-laws, Pat Pottkotter and Jerry May; his nephew, Dan May; and his father and mother-in-law, Rich and Viola Miller.
Cy was a 1977 graduate of St. Henry High School. He worked for Cooper Farms in the feed mill until he retired after 37 years. Cy was an avid Fort Recovery Indians fan, attending many games over the years. He also enjoyed rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Washington Commanders. Cy enjoyed watching racing, especially dirt track racing and NASCAR. He often attended the Indiana Speed Week each year. Cy never knew a stranger, and his loving personality will be missed by many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Guests may visit with his family on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at Brockman Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
