Jerome A. Osterloh, age 93 formerly of Egypt, Ohio, of New Bremen, Ohio, died at 9:40 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Elmwood New Bremen.

He was born on April 28, 1931 in Egypt, Ohio to the late Aloysius & Blanche (Meier) Osterloh. He is survived by siblings: Irvin & Norma Osterloh, Arkdale, WI, Janice & Tom Weitzal, Powell, in-laws Jovita Osterloh, St. Henry, Yolanda Osterloh, Groveport, Barb Osterloh, Minster, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by siblings and in-laws: Alma & Ed Puthoff, Rita & Norbert Eilerman, Alberta & Jack Rethman, Ivo Osterloh, Othmar Osterloh, Laura Osterloh, Linus Osterloh.

Jerry was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, Ohio. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War in Germany and enjoyed his travels in Europe while he was serving. He was a member of the American Legion, Minster Post, Knights of St. John, Maria Stein, and Singles in Agriculture, a group that held social events and did farm tours in different states and Europe. He drove a truck for many years at Container Corporation in Piqua. He enjoyed walking to McDonalds in Piqua many mornings where he always received a warm welcome.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 30, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, Ohio with burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Egypt.

Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, and on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 9 to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Queen of the Holy Rosary Mediatrix of Peace Shrine, W5703 Shrine Rd, Necedah, WI 54646.
