Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

William Schlosser
William "Bill" John Schlosser, age 94 of Celina, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at his residence in Celina.
He was born on November 2, 1930 to the late Lothar Robert Schlosser and Helena C. (Kraudelt) Schlosser. On October 7, 1959, he married Marceil Roessner who passed away on July 9, 2006.
He is survived by a son, William Joseph Schlosser of Celina and a daughter, Marsha Ann Schlosser of Celina.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his siblings Joseph (Dolores) Schlosser, Marcia (Clark) Kolp, and Richard (Mildred) Schlosser.
William graduated from Immaculate Conception Highschool with the class of 1948 and attended Miami University. Fred DeCurtin influenced his decision to become a Draftsmen. He worked at New Idea, UNICO, and retired from Kennedy Kit as a Draftsmen in 1995 after 23 years. He was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church and attended Van Wert St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He enjoyed listening to classical music, Big Bands, and Hits of the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's. He also enjoyed building model airplanes kits, model trains as well as gardening and handy man projects.
A Mass of a Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Church, with Fr. Adam Berning officiating. Burial will be held in St. Marys Catholic cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 9:00 A.M. - 10:30 A.M on Friday at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception church or Everheart Hospice.
