Daniel Dillion
Daniel Lee Dillion, age 63 of Celina, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. He was born on February 1, 1962 to the late Ralph and Gladys (Garman) Dillion in Celina. On November 26, 1983, he married Michelle "Shelly" Miller who survives in Celina.
He is also survived by his loving children Cody (Danielle) Dillion of Piqua, Casey (Michelle) Dillion of Paynesville, Tyler Dillion of Celina, one grandchild Mischa Dillion of Piqua, sisters Carol Strahm of Celina, Jane (Richard) Westgerdes of Celina, and half-brother David (Diane) Shinn of Celina.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Shawn Dillion, sister Sue Eckstein, and brother-in-law Bill Strahm.
Daniel attended the Celina High School, then proudly served his country in the National Guard for six years. He worked at Crown and was a member of the Celina First Church of God. Daniel had a love for camping, collecting, slot car racing, and cars.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Flack officiating. Burial will be held in the North Grove Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Celina American Legion Post #210 and the Celina V.F.W. Post #5713. Friends and family may call from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday before services at the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
