* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Betty McCoy
Betty Lou McCoy, 71, of Saint Marys, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at her residence following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was born May 7, 1953, in Saint Marys, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Jones) Rabe. She was the very first baby ever born at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
She married Stephen McCoy on April 12, 1974, at the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in Saint Marys, and he survives at the residence. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Kevin (Deb) McCoy of Kettering, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty was a 1971 graduate of Celina High School. She worked at Celina Group Insurance for 10 years, and then was a homemaker. She enjoyed biking, hiking and reading. She and Steve often went for long walks on the East Bank of Grand Lake St. Marys. She was a longtime member of Wayne Street Church.
Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-6 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
