Quinten Thobe
Quinten K. Thobe, age 16, of Celina, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. He was born on November 20, 2008, in Cincinnati to Mike Thobe and Kelly (Flege) Klosterman.
Quinten was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, and friend. He was a sophomore at Celina High School where he was a proud member of the Celina Bulldogs Football Team. Quinten had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing, and was passionate about staying active-whether in the gym or cheering on his favorite teams, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Browns.
He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor, always ready to make others laugh, and his warm heart and bear hugs left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was ornery in the best ways, polite, quick to smile, and deeply loyal to those he cared about. Quinten had a way of lighting up any room and made a profound impact in his 16 years-his presence will be felt forever.
He is survived by his father, Mike Thobe of Celina; his mother and stepfather, Kelly and Eric Klosterman of Celina; his brother and sisters, Zayn Thobe, Natalie Thobe, and Autumn Klosterman, all of Celina; paternal grandmother, Kathy Sharkey of Celina; maternal grandfather, James Flege Jr. of Cincinnati; maternal grandmother, Joni Proffitt of Cincinnati; and maternal great-grandmother, Nancy Proffitt of Cincinnati. He also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and teammates.
Quinten was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Rosemary Post; maternal great-grandfather, Paul Proffitt; his uncle, Steve Meister; and his cousin, Mason Thobe.
Family and friends may gather to honor Quinten's life on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina.

Quinten's memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him. In difficult times, may we lean on one another, speak kindly, and remind those around us that brighter days can follow even the darkest storms. There is always hope.
