Nancy Selby
Nancy Selby, 73, of New Knoxville, Ohio, died suddenly on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at her residence.
She was born December 28, 1951, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Myron "Sam" and Joanne (Koenig) Katterheinrich. She married Rodney Selby on October 16, 2009, and he survives in New Knoxville.
She is also survived by her daughter, Nichole (Jeremy) Resor of New Knoxville; by her siblings: Connie (David) Schwabero of Reading, Michigan; Marty (Katye) Katterheinrich of Defiance, Ohio; John (Deb) Katterheinrich of New Knoxville. She is survived by her grandchildren Jonah (Dakota Kennedy) Resor; Ella Resor; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Nancy was a 1970 graduate of New Knoxville High School and a graduate of Lima Technical College. She was a Registered Nurse and had worked in the ICU at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, Otterbein Saint Marys, Wilson Memorial Hospital, and the office of Dr. Parmie Herman.
She loved to garden and was a great cook and baker. She loved reading and was a member of the New Knoxville Methodist Church. Nancy was a great seamstress who made her own clothes and also her daughter's homecoming and prom dresses, as well as curtains and pillows for her home.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Private family burial rites will be held at the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the New Knoxville Library.
