CELINA - Thousands of people flocked to Lake Shore Drive this weekend to take in the 2026 Governor's Cup Regatta.
The hydroplane races were organized by Veterans Forever Inc. and featured the American Power Boat Association's Eastern Divisional Title race on Saturday and the Governor's Cup on Sunday. [More]

Grand Lake snaps skid on Saturday, loses on Sunday
CELINA - To snap a three-game losing streak, Grand Lake needed some good old-fashioned grit.
The Mariners did just that, using three home runs and turning three double plays to hold on to beat Flag City 5-4 on Saturday night at Montgomery Field in Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League play.
