A worker guides the World's First Airline Monument into place Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, along the waterfront in St. Petersburg, Fla. The sculpture is a full-sized replica of the Benoist Airboat. The replica is made of stainless steel and features the bronze busts of pilot Tony Jannus and passenger, St. Petersburg mayor Abe Pheil. On Jan. 1, 1914, aviation history was made when the world's first commercial airline named the St. Petersburg-Tampa Airboat Line took off from St. Petersburg heading to Tampa. The airline flew twice daily from St. Petersburg and Tampa and over the course of three-months, carried more than 1,000 passengers. (AP Photo/Chris O'Meara)
