Spirits fill church Halloween party
Grand Lake United Methodist Church held its first Halloween party - the brainchild of the Rev. Mick Whistler - at St. Paul's in Celina. The party was open to the public and attracted more than 350 people; it likely will become an annual tradition. The church had 12 themed rooms, and the sanctuary was transformed into a pumpkin patch. Church officials gave out 10,000 pieces of candy.
