Robert Stocker
Robert L. Stocker, 65, of Ridgeville, Ind., died Oct. 21, 2006, at Ryan RV Campgrounds, Albany, Ky.
He was born May 23, 1941, to Harold B. and Ruth O. Weaver Stocker. His mother survives in Portland, Ind.
Also surviving are two sons, Harold L., Fort Recovery, and Danny E., Portland; three brothers, Jack E., Dunkirk, Ind., Ralph E., Albany, Ind., and Fred A., Centerville, Ga.; two stepsons, James and Carl Miller, Ridgeville, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Lori Miller, Lynn, Ind.; two sisters, Barbara A. Meek, Portland, and Janet (James) Beeson, Dunkirk; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Jeff.
He was an iron worker with Local 147 Union, Fort Wayne, Ind., and attended Madison Township High School. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 928 and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 417, both of Portland, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6515, Fort Recovery.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the Portland Chapel of Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, the Rev. Hugh Kelly officiating. Burial is at Wells Cemetery, northwest of Portland.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
