At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Gary Rutledge
Gary M. Rutledge, 63, Rockford, died Feb. 22, 2007, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born Aug. 3, 1943, in Celina, to Keith and Betty (VanTilburg) Rutledge Sr. His father is deceased and his mother survives in Rockford. He previously was married to Judith K. Rutledge, who survives.
Also surviving is a son, Paul (Cheryl), Rising Sun; two daughters, Vicky (Steve) Bihn, Findlay, and Tammy (Paul) Methot, Van Wert; two brothers, Bob (Kathy) and Keith (Anita), all of Rockford; a sister, Ruth (Mike) Armstrong, Walbridge; and seven grandchildren.
He was a mortgage broker for Streamline Home Mortgage, Van Wert, and member of the New Horizon Community Church, Rockford.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. John Eraunstein officiating. Calling is after 10 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service.
