Cleora Forwerck
Former New Bremen resident Cleora C. Forwerck, 86, of the St. Marys Living Center, died at 1:25 p.m. June 5, 2007, at Adams Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ind.
She was born June 13, 1920, in New Bremen, to Charles and Clara Kellermeyer Fark. On July 31, 1941, she married Charles Forwerck, who died May 12, 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie (Vernon) Koch and Barbara (Jerry) Koeper, both of New Bremen; a brother-in-law, Robert Hudson, St. Marys; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son; two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Fark; and a sister, Charlene Hudson.
She retired as a waitress from the former Hotel Bar, New Bremen. She was a member of St. Peter's Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 241 and Woodman of the World Camp 149, all of New Bremen. She was a 1939 graduate of New Bremen High School
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial will follow at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
