Ruth Amelia Cantwell, 89, 1109 Jackson Ave., Celina, died at 5 a.m. June 12, 2007, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.

She was born April 20, 1918, in Auglaize County, to Henry and Clara Kauffman Glass. On April 12, 1955, she married Stanley Cantwell, who died May 23, 1995.

Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Sue (Stanley) Cantwell-Bader, Van Wert, and a brother, Guy (Alma) Glass, St. Marys.

Deceased are a brother, Robert Glass, and a sister, Edna Adams.

She was employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, was a homemaker and member of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. William Maki officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
