At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Glenn Potts
Former Spencerville resident Glenn R. Potts, 68, of Celina, died at 7:10 a.m. July 5, 2007, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
He was born June 28, 1939, in Spencerville, to Roy E. and Winifred P. Shobe Potts. On May 20, 1995, he married Kathleen A. Ridder, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James, Celina, and David (Belinda), Ohio City; two daughters, Glenda (Randy) Adams, Rockford, and Carolyn (Lee) Fiedler, Ohio City; a stepson, Matthew Luginbill, Celina; three sisters, Betty Brooks and Shirley (Dick) Harruff, all of Spencerville, and Mixine Little, Delphos; and six grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Donald, Richard, Wayne and Carl; and four sisters, Mary Wyer, Donna Sites, Carol Miller and Pauline Kurtz; and an infant sister, Linda.
He worked at Cooper Foods Company and in maintenance work at Haulette Company. He was a U.S. Marine veteran who served in the Vietnam War, and played in the Jess King and Country Gospels Band for 18 years in the Celina and Rockford areas.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina, and a former member of the Harry J. Reynolds American Legion Post 191, Spencerville.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the Thomas A. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, the Rev. John G. Medaugh officiating. Burial is at Spencerville Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by the VFW.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where a veterans memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. by Celina veterans.
