The hog of Kim Rose drew $450 at Monday night's Junior Fair Auction at the Mercer County Fairgrounds. Kim Rose of Lassies and Lads won professional showmanship and senior showmanship. The annual livestock auction sold 219 items including beef, pork, lambs, goats, poultry, a dozen eggs and a gallon of milk from a cow and goat. Money spent by businesses and supporters in the audience goes to the young farmers, who raised the animals, and to support junior fair activities. Buyer information was not available at press time but will be published later.
