Cutting into roadway
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard
Crews have completed the deep cut into the ground to flatten and smooth Grand Lake Road when the street is rebuilt in the coming weeks. Retaining walls will be built along the sides to keep the earth from collapsing. The street reconstruction and widening project cost about $1.2 million, largely funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
