At 954 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Newport, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Montra, Newbern, New Jerusalem, Lockington, Ridgeway, Woodstock, Botkins, Mount Victory, Millerstown, Kiser Lake State Park, Hardin, Pemberton, Piqua, West Mansfield, East Liberty, St. Paris, Logansville, Belle Center, North Lewisburg, and Lakeview.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 77 and 106.

Klela Kohnen
Klela Faye Kohnen, 76, of Celina, died at 7:35 p.m. Sept. 8, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
She was born July 29, 1931, in Rockford, to Luther and Gladine Shock Strete. On Sept. 2, 1952, she married Donald J. Kohnen, who survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Michael (Judy), Chesterfield, Va., Phil, Celina; Henry, Careyville, Tenn., William (Marie), Titusville, Fla., and Joseph (Stacy), Defiance; four daughters, Melinda (Craig), Vaughn, Waynesville, Terri (Tim) Wenning and Rosemary Yaney, all of Celina, and Kathy (Allan) Skiver, Defiance; a brother; two sisters; 16 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Jerry Strete; and a grandson.
She was a graduate of the former Rockford High School and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
