Dortha Ellis, 80, 113 Beech St., Celina, died Sept. 15, 2007, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 13, 1926, in Mercer County, to Clarence C. and Lulu E. Adam Eichler. On May 27, 1944, she married Roland Rex Ellis, who died Jan. 4, 2006.

Surviving are a son, Carman (Jill), Celina; two daughters, Marsha (Wayne) Vantilburg, Celina, and Connie (Roy) Pifer, Celina; a sister-in-law, Doris Eichler, Celina; six grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.

Deceased is a brother, Vernon C. Eichler.

She was a homemaker and member of St. John Lutheran Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 5713, both of Celina.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Paul Baglien officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
