Jacqueline Whetstone
Jacqueline "Nana" Whetstone, 76, formerly of 505 Gibbs Ave., Wapakoneta, died Oct. 24, 2007, at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home, Wapakoneta.
She was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Wapakoneta, to Thurlow "Tub" and Lucille Naylor Weber. On June 21, 1951, she married Maurice E. Whetstone, who died Aug. 26, 1993.
Survivors are a son, David "Stubby," St. Marys; a daughter, Elisa Williams, Wapakoneta; a brother, William (Joanie) Weber, Port Aransas, Texas; a sister, Marilyn "Muffy" (Don) Edwards, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother-in-law, Paul D., Celina; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a companion, Bob "Hemmy" Hemmelgarn.
She worked in her family's business, the former Weber's Restaurant in Wapakoneta, and co-owned the former P&K Restaurant in St. Marys. She also worked at Varsity Bowling Lanes, St. Marys. A 1948 graduate of the former Blume High School, Wapakoneta, she was a member of the Classy Chicks of '48 Red Hat Society.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
