* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:40 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall slowly this afternoon, falling below flood stage later this evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

East Jefferson Township board of zoning appeals chairman Jonny Dicke, left, conducts business at Thursday night's meeting where the height variance was granted to Mercer Energy for its ethanol plant. Dicke abstained from the vote. Board members Don Vanderhorst, center, voted yes and Larry Hawk voted no. The final vote, with alternates voting, was 3-2.
