Area health officials quit enforcement of smoking ban
Mercer County health officials on Wednesday voted unanimously to stop enforcing the Smoke-free Workplace Act and hand over the job to the state.

Rockford extends water lines to Laurels
ROCKFORD - Village council members this week agreed to extend 1.2 miles of water line to the Laurels of Shane Hill Nursing Home.
The nursing home currently pumps water from wells on its property at 10731 state Route 118.
