Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Celina stands alone on top of the Western Buckeye League boys soccer standings after beating Elida 3-0 on Tuesday.
The win puts Celina at 5-0 in the WBL. Ottawa-Glandorf stands at 4-0-1 after tying Elida 1-all last week. Elida drops to 3-2-1 in WBL play.
After back-to-back relatively easy wins in the first two games, Celina needed to rally to pull off a three-game sweep over Coldwater on Tuesday evening at the Intermediate School.
