Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off into tonight.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset and beyond as temperatures drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Martin Fullenkamp
Martin J. "Marty" Fullenkamp, 68, 2959 Reinhard Road, Fort Recovery, died Sept. 27, 2008, at his farm on state Route 219, Coldwater.
He was born Aug. 10, 1940, in St. Henry, to Hugo and Matilda Keller Fullenkamp.
Surviving are five brothers, Ralph, Loren, Matthew (Deb), all of Fort Recovery, Roman (Marlene), Bryant, Ind., and Luke (Sharon), Portland, Ind.; five sisters, Madonna (Leland) Sinks, Farmersville, Anna Marie (Ken) Brunswick, Bryant, Ind., Eileen (Don) Hoying, Greenville, Karen (Lester) Berning, Sidney, and Sylvia (Matthew) Stammen, Coldwater; and a brother-in-law, Dale Wendel, Fort Recovery.
Deceased are a sister, Ruth Wendel and a sister-in-law, Onalee Fullenkamp.
He was a farmer, worked at the former Agco New Idea, Coldwater and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe. He served in the National Guard and was a 1959 graduate of St. Henry High School.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman- Boeckman Funeral HOme, Fort Recovery.
