Rosemary Woehrmyer, 85, formerly of Bensman Road, Minster, died at 10 a.m. Feb. 18, 2009, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.

She was born July 12, 1923, in Minster, to Elmer and Celia Poeppelman Oldiges. On Nov. 25, 1945, she married Alton H. "Bud" Woehrmyer, who died Nov. 15, 1994.

Surviving are a son, Jon (Judy), Minster; a daughter, Sandra (Paul) Albers, Minster; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two sisters, Velma Hemelgarn and Lois Brinkman.

She was a founding member of the Minster Area Life Squad and a pollworker for the Republican Committee of Auglaize County. She volunteered at the Red Cross Blood Bank and Minster Local Schools. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and its Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
