Dean Mills
Former Celina resident Dean G. Mills, 76, died Feb. 24, 2009, at his residence in Muncie, Ind.
He was born, Jan. 14, 1933, in Smithfield, Ind., to Clessie and Ola Helm Mills. In March, 2008, he married Marjorie Wright Mills, who survives. His second wife, Ann Mills, died in 2006.
Other survivors are two daughters, Donna (Ken) Miller, Willshire, and Deann (Don "Beatle") Puthoff, St. Marys; six stepchildren; a brother, Rollin "Junior;" a sister, Sue; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; and a step great-granddaughter.
Deceased are eight brothers and sisters.
  He worked at the former New Idea Company, Coldwater for over 25 years, was a self employed truck driver and worked for Stewart Trucking Company, Muncie, Ind. until his retirement. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #33 in Muncie, American Legion, Celina, and Teamsters Local Union. He attended Muncie Schools, as well as Shell Lake High School in Wisconsin, and served eight years in the US Marine Corps.
Cremation was held with private family services.
