Gerald Dillhoff
Gerald "Jerry" Dillhoff, 65, Rolling Meadows, Ill., died at 4 p.m. March 8, 2009, at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, Ill.
He was born July 4, 1943, in Fort Recovery, to Frank and Mary Dues Dillhoff. His wife of 39 years, Betty A. Gfroerer, survives.
Other survivors are a foster son, Roy (Mary-Lou) Erickson; four brothers, Dennis (Judy) Dillhoff, Bob (Carol) Dillhoff, Floyd Dillhoff and Rick Dillhoff; two sisters, Dolores Dillhoff and Phyllis (Dan) Zizzelman; and three grandchildren.
He worked at the Ivanhoe Country Club, Ivanhoe, Ill., as assistant manager and later as a maitre de since 1992. He was a member of Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, Arlington Heights, Ill.
Funeral Mass is 9:30 a.m. March 18 at the church. Burial is at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, Ill.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. March 17 at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, Palatine.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association, both of Chicago.
