Cletus Knoth
Cletus C. Knoth, 80, 5210 Wabash Road, Coldwater, died Nov. 28, 2009, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Dec. 17, 1928, in Fort Recovery to John and Pauline Sutter Knoth. On Nov. 24, 1951, he married Lou Ann Muhlenkamp, who survives.
Also surviving are six daughters, Pat (Eric) Sudhoff, Celina, Linda (Steve) Steinbrunner, Carol (Greg) Doenges, and Ginny (Dan) Dues, all of Coldwater, Connie (Chris) Walter, Celina, Jane (Ernie) Timmerman, Fort Recovery; six sons, Kenny (Ann) Knoth, Dave (Vicky) Knoth, Steve (Judy) Knoth, and Kevin (Karen) Knoth, all of Coldwater, Don (Dana) Knoth, Celina and Tom (Renee) Knoth, West Chester; two sisters, Rosie (Virgil) Krieg, Fort Recovery, and Armella Mangen, Brock; 46 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Fort Recovery and the Ohio Foresters.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery. A Knights of Columbus prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
