John Stachler
Former Celina resident John Edward Stachler, 63, of Alpena, Mich., died Jan. 21, at the John C. Lincoln Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz.
He was born July 12, 1946, in Celina, to Paul and Clara Dickerson Stachler. On March 15, 2008, he married Ann Daniels, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Joseph (Jamie) Stachler, Celina; a daughter, Stephanie (Trevor) Temple, Celina; a stepson, Ben (Amanda) Daniels, of Arizona; three brothers, Robert (Joyce) Stachler, Ronald (Janet) Stachler and Ted (Ellen) Stachler, all of Celina; two sisters, Sue (Barry) Rolfes, Celina, and Jane (Bill) Rye, St. Marys; a sister-in-law, Pat Brockman, Portland, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Mike Stachler.
He retired from Reynolds & Reynolds, Celina, worked as a barber at Ted's Barber Shop, Celina, and previously owned a barber shop in Mendon. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and the former Grand Lake Bow Hunters Club.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina.
