Harold Huff
Harold "Pete" Huff, 70, 802 Bryarly Circle, St. Marys, died at 4:30 p.m. Feb. 26, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born Feb. 9, 1940, in Wayland, Ky., to Claude and Maggie Banks Huff. On June 5, 1959, he married Julia Knous, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Patsy (Mark) Sprunger, Berne, Ind., and Angela Huff, St. Marys; two brothers, Harvey Huff, St. Marys, and Eugene (Ruth) Huff, Grand Rapids, Mich.; a sister, Anna Laura Drummond, St. Marys; and a grandson.
Deceased is a brother, James Huff.
He retired from the former Avco New Idea plant in Coldwater and formerly worked at the St. Marys Foundry. He was a 1959 graduate of Memorial High School and served in the Ohio National Guard. He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in St. Marys and served as a lay minister, a Sunday school superintendent, Bible school teacher and song leader at the church.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Ron Lambert officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens near St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
