Mary Schmiesing
Mary Ann Schmiesing, 92, Cassella, died at 4:13 p.m. June 6, 2010, at the Gardens in St. Henry.
She was born May 5, 1918, in Cassella to John and Katherine Kemper Grevenkamp. On Oct. 24, 1936, she married Walter Schmiesing, who is deceased.
Surviving are three daughters, Dianne (Larry) Dicke, New Bremen, Elaine (David) Brunswick, Celina, and Peg (Mike) Albers, Maria Stein; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son, Robert, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of the Ladies Sodality of the church, the Knights of St. John Auxiliary in Maria Stein and Catholic Knights in Cassella.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Cassella. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
