Richard Sanning
Richard G. "Dick" Sanning, 77, Coldwater, died at 7:40 p.m. July 9, 2010, at his home.
He was born April 2, 1933, in Dayton, to Albert and Louise Reigelsperger Sanning. On Feb. 14, 1953, he married Susanna Noll, who survives in Coldwater.
Also surviving is a daughter, Darlene Gruss, Philothea; three sons, Duane (Kelly) Sanning, Greenville, Charles (Beverly) Sanning, and Kevin (Kristina) Sanning, all of Coldwater; a son-in-law, Mark (Kathy) Barhorst, Fort Loramie; six brothers-in-law, Cletus Noll, Montpelier, Lawrence Noll, Minster, Adrian (Linda) Noll, Celina, Tom Zumberge, Curtice, Jerry (Carol) Noll, Celina, and Roger Noll, Sidney; three sisters-in-law, Bernice Hemmelgarn, Rockford, Charlene (Terry) Kittle, Celina, and Marian (Duane) Kaiser, El Paso, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Deceased is a daughter, Linda Barhorst; a son-in-law, Dale Gruss; a brother, Robert Sanning; two sisters-in-law, Barb Sanning and Rita Zumberge; father-in-law, Bernard Noll and mother-in-law, Irene Noll; and a brother-in-law, Richard Noll.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Philothea and its Men's Sodality, the Eagles #3025, a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Knights of Columbus Council 1991, all of Coldwater. He also was a server and communion distributor at the church. He was an owner and operator of Sannings Service Station and co-owner and operator of Coldwater Implement.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
